The Chinese Crested dog belongs to the Canis africanis family unlike your  average dog. The early history of this magnificent animal is mostly theorised from drawings and writings . There is no real recorded history of the chinese crested dog prior to the 1700s. What is known is that Mr W. K. .Tauton a english dog fancier and collector of rare breeds exhibited a chinese crested dog, "Emperor" in 1896. There was no real attempt to establish the breed in Great Britain.
Tha hairless dog is referred to a s several names depending what country they are found in; China - the Chinese Hairless, Chinese Ship Dog, Chinese Royal Hairless or Chinese Edible Dog ; Africa- South American Hairless; Turkey- Turkish Hairless etc...
They were first official record of the Chinese Crested dogs appearnce in America was April 28- May 1, 1885. After many years of work the Chinese Crested dog became eligible for Amerian Kennel Club registration on February 1, 1991
                                                       ABOUT US....

We are a small family orientated kennel where our dogs a few in quantity but big in quality. Where we are more than happy to sell a quality to dog to a loving home as a priority rather than a blue ribbon. We rarely breed and mainly for our own needs but occasionally have dogs available to select homes. We believe on a hands-on approach where our emphasis is not only on the physical type but on temperament.
